Discover Ha Giang
Ha Giang is a growing tourist destination in Vietnam's northern tip, bordering China. Its rugged landscape and the minorities residing in it make a visit seem like travelling back in time.
The best way to go around is on a motorbike, round and round its winding roads, overlooking Ha Giang's limestone forests and granite hills.
With the 3 or 4-day Ha Giang loop, you will go all the way until you reach Quan Ba Pass. Also known as Heaven's Gate, it is located 1,500 metres above sea level and offers a view that will take your breath away.
Besides the amazing scenery, getting to know the friendly locals of Ha Giang is a wonderful experience. About 90% of them are from various ethnic minorities and you will find their laidback villages up in the hills.
When visiting these villages, you can get a tour guide to explain their traditions and translate whenever necessary. The locals are very welcoming to tourists, but it would be a waste if your meeting gets lost in sign language.
Ha Giang is probably Vietnam's most beautiful and unspoiled gem. We highly recommend a few days of visit to these northern hills!
